SMC64v2-BP

The miniature SMC64v2 controller is designed to co-operate with a two-phase stepper motor with bipolar winding (8- or 4-wire) or unipolar 6-wire switched on as bipolar SMC64v2-BP is the next popular SMC64 driver, it is compatible backwards with the old version

In relation to the old version, a number of improvements were introduced, such as extended division of the step (up to 1/16, as well as divisions 1/10 and 2/10), higher frequency of step signal adoption, analog input for speed control using, for example, a potentiometer, selection of current by means of a micro-switch in the range (1.5… 3.5A).

Properties: Â

  • new version of the popular SMC64 driver
  • miniature dimensions: 55x77x50mm
  • temperature protected overvoltage protection, against short-circuit
  • Â one voltage supply max 40V
  • high rated current 3.5A
  • full-, half-step, 1/4, 1/8 work. 1/16, 1/10, 2/10 steps
  • created for 2-phase bipolar engines
