STC102-WP

STC102-WP is a miniature three-axis controller designed to control small to medium two-phase stepper motors. The system is mounted on an aluminum L-shaped profile additionally cooled by a fan. Thanks to the integrated power supply, the controller only requires an external transformer and provides control signals for each axis, which simplifies the system in comparison to a solution built from three independent power units and power supplies. The controller defaults to an active ENABLE signal, which allows you to control only the Step and Direction signals.

Thanks to the possibility of shifting the value of the current in the microstep control (141% of the full-throttle current), the controller provides dynamics and power with respect to full-angle control, while reducing the adverse effect of motor resonances. The mixed current quenching mode influences the increase in the engine's working culture as well as the reduction of power losses. The STC102 controller power connector has a series of protections (temperature, voltage decay of the logic part supply, against the breaking bridge), which makes the controller resistant to poor working conditions as well as mounting errors.

The controller also has a four-part optoisolation, which can be used, for example, for operating circuit breakers. The controller signal connector is adapted to connect the PERFORM controller intended for the management of 3-axis machine movements.

  • opto-isolated inputs for limit switches for each axis and emergency stop,
  • power supply and outputs for motors on screw joints,
  • control signals and power supply to the management unit (5VDC) available on a double-row comb connector adapted to tighten the 16-channel tape,
  • connection of limit switches by means of a double-row comb connector adapted to tighten the 10-string tape.
